Dogtor Levi is the RAPS Animal Hospital mascot.
Prior to being appointed RAPS mascot, Dogtor Levi attained his dogtorate by correspondence from Mongrel University. He has a specialty in sniffing, whuffling and sluffing off.
Dogtor Levi is renowned among colleagues for working like a dog, which is to say he rouses himself several times a day then sleeps for approximately 22 hours. When he is not actively mascoting, Dogtor Levi can be found on park benches, online ads and brochures, where his modeling career has brought him public recognition beyond what most rescue dogs attain. In his spare time, Dogtor Levi enjoys relaxing, lounging, idling, lazing, loafing and basking in the affection of his human siblings and their friends. He also enjoys food and has a discerning palate for canned dog food and kibble. Walking on Richmond’s dikes and hikes in Metro Vancouver’s regional parks are highlights of his week. Dogtor Levi is tolerant of the endless streams of fostered dogs, cats, mammals, birds and other creatures with whom he shares his home. A rescue himself, he tries to remind himself that these other animals, no matter how ill-behaved, irritating or infuriatingly frisky, deserve the second chance he himself had. No matter how often they interrupt his naps. |
