RAPS Animal Hospital is conveniently located in the Richmond Auto Mall, just 20 minutes from the Tsawwassen Ferry Terminal or 10 minutes from the airport!
The RAPS Animal Hospital serves all of British Columbia. We are a community-owned, nonprofit, full service veterinary facility. By removing the profit motive from vet care, we make it worth your while to make the trip with your companion animal! Example: A typical TPLO surgery may average $8,500. At the RAPS Animal Hospital the cost is typically $5,500 (less 25%) = $4,425—an average savings of $4,375 (does not include exam, diagnostics and after care medications). This is not a quote. The cost will vary on a case-by-case basis. Learn more at www.rapsanimalhospital.com or call 604-242-1666. Don’t have a pet? Share this offer with a friend! *Exceptions may apply. The travel & hotel reimbursement offer excludes residents of Metro Vancouver, Abbotsford, Mission and Chilliwack, however the 25% off savings still applies. This offer expires April 4th, 2025. Jessi & Zeus
An example of how RAPS and the RAPS Animal Hospital serve people throughout British Columbia is the case of Jessi Howden and his dog, Zeus. In his hometown of Port Alberni, Jessi could not find a veterinarian who would provide an interest-free payment plan for Zeus’s TPLO (knee/ligament) surgery (which RAPS provides) and was quoted at $8,500 per knee. Jessi is single, lives alone and has a low income, delivering pizza and picking up odd jobs. When Zeus faced surgery, Jessi was distraught and faced financial ruin, homelessness – or the loss of his animal companion. “He’s my everything. He’s my child. There is something extremely special about my dog Zeus and anybody that knows him will say the same thing. I would not be here today if it wasn’t for him therefore I will do anything for him,” Jessi wrote to us. “RAPS helped me get the right surgery that Zeus needed and an extremely cheaper price with the best quality. … A payment plan helped me tremendously. I was able to keep my housing. I was able to keep everything. I’d sell and give up everything to get my dog the surgery he needed. RAPS not only saved me $5,100 but allowed me to make interest-free payments over a one year period - about $200 a month. RAPS went above and beyond to accommodate mine and my dog’s needs.” |
