You can be part of something special! We are one of the largest not-for-profit animal hospitals in B.C., providing regular client care as well as subsidized care to companion animals in households with low incomes or facing other challenges. RAPS’ motto is “helping animals and their people.” Our bottom line is not profit; it is saving and improving the lives of animals. We reinvest 100% of net proceeds back into the community to help animals and assist people – and that makes us feel great every day.
We are an innovative group looking for creative people. We have B.C.’s only hyperbaric oxygen chamber for pets. If you would like to work with a superior team, to excel in medicine, surgery, responsive client care and compassionate patient treatment, then we have a great opportunity for you!
We offer a great career trajectory, better than average wages and benefits, great flexibility, lots of autonomy and the ability to grow professionally.
We have over 6,000 square feet of beautiful space (donated by a corporate partner), 21 parking spaces, a brand new facility, the latest equipment, large exam rooms, windows everywhere for natural light and great views of the mountains. Our goal is to make veterinary healthcare affordable for everyone. We have provided millions of dollars in subsidies to the public.
Our team is passionate and compassionate, with a strong focus on client relationships, integrative treatments and best practices. If you are friendly, sociable, outgoing, entrepreneurial, enthusiastic, positive and compassionate – then we have a full-time position for you! And we are growing!
And…hey! You can be part of our new TV reality show on RAPS, which is being filmed by a successful producer and picked up by a large network. We are in the process of filming our second season. Check out our first season on CraveTV.
